The Practice of Sheng Zhen Qigong

This text should be a general introduction to the practice of Sheng Zhen Qigong, as it is experienced through the forms, explained through the philosophy and manifested through the benefits. Sheng Zhen Qigong includes a wide variety of forms. Some can be learned easily, while others require a strong foundation of qigong practice. There are standing forms, seated forms, and lying down form. One does not need to practice all the forms—nor is there a prescribed hierarchy of practices through which students progress. People are encouraged to learn and practice the forms to which they are intuitively drawn.
